Watts is looking for a strategic, results and people first oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our Franklin NH facility. You will successfully manage large-scale manufacturing facilities, implement lean methodologies, familiarize yourself with foundry operations, and drive operational excellence. You will be hybrid in Franklin, NH and report to the Vice President, Valves and Drains Operations.

You Will:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the success of both manufacturing and foundry operations.
  • Oversee daily activities, production schedules, and quality control processes.
  • Drive initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve resource utilization.
  • Champion and implement lean manufacturing principles throughout the facility.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, and operators.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster professional development.
  • Promote a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to meet financial targets.
  • Keen focus on driving improved productivity and managing earned hours.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to meet or exceed customer expectations.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5 experience as a Plant Manager in a large-scale manufacturing facility.
  • Background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Expertise in implementing change initiatives.
  • Team-building skills.

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
