Position

Due to continuing growth in our business, we have an opening for a quality control inspector. Responsibilities of this position include:

• Inspecting component parts manufactured in-house and purchased from outside vendors;
• Preparing inspection reports and maintaining databases;
• Testing and troubleshooting components and finished products to address quality issues;
• Working with design and manufacturing engineers to improve product design and manufacturing processes.

• College degree from a 2- or 4-year college, plus 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use a wide variety of measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators and coordinate measuring machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings
• Ability to prepare and complete inspection forms and related documentation.
• Knowledge of standard quality procedures.
