Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of inspection results, defects, and deviations from standards.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to identify and address quality-related concerns, ensuring timely resolutions to maintain production efficiency.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the production team regarding recurring defects or issues, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Offer training and guidance to new team members on quality control processes, inspection techniques, and relevant standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to address quality-related challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in inspection methods and technologies to continuously enhance your skills.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines to elevate product quality.
  • Generate detailed reports that serve as a critical reference for quality control and improvement efforts.
  • Utilize precision tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and electronic testing devices, to perform accurate assessments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a bonus.
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a similar quality control role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and relevant equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with various teams.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) is desirable.
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, and lift during inspections.
