Who We are
Founded in 1999 with a fundamental belief in the power of relationships in life and in healing, Watercourse Counseling’s vision is to develop innovative programs that address a broad range of mental health needs from prevention to intervention in our diverse Minneapolis community.
Our guiding philosophy emphasizes community partnership to support equitable access to resources that promote wellness for individuals and the community. We choose to center this work in Minneapolis with the full understanding that there is a lack of culturally-based mental health resources within the city, and we remain committed to making a difference in the lives of those who have been marginalized and underserved. We continue to be guided by these beliefs, even after 25 years of service.
