Description

*This position start between $20.20 and $22.72 per hour. 

Serve the Healing Department by designing, maintaining and coordinating administrative systems, processes and direct ministry activities. Attends planning meetings, organizes events, and provides a wide-variety of administrative support. May assist with program and curriculum development and maintain program database. Serves on the front line of the program and directly interfaces and supports Healing Ministries participants.

Provide administrative coordination for the ministries, classes, groups, seminars and trainings that fall under the oversight of the Healing Department. Manage schedules, plan meetings and events including all logistical needs for weekly and monthly activities and special events including ordering supplies, food, facility reservations, ministry deposits etc. Answer email and phones, maintain calendar, maintain filing systems, coordinate material/supply ordering and production and maintain department’s database. May prepare material for programs using a variety of methods, including but not limited to social media tools, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher.

Serve as liaison with other WOLCC departments and programs, communicating program’s needs, requesting assistance with scheduling and logistics, providing information to other departments, coordinating calendars. Work as the liaison between the Front Desk team and the Healing Department – keeping the front desk informed as to protocols and procedures related to communicating and connecting people seeking information and or services from the Healing Department.

Coordinate and oversee Concourse requests including training, scheduling and managing volunteers. This may include evening, weekend and some offsite work. Engage with and encourage volunteers and trouble shoot issues as they arise.

Qualifications


  • 3 years’ professional experience in an administrative role supporting a program or a business unit
  • Strong oral, written and editorial skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and manage a small team; excellent team building skills
  • Ability to manage a function including organizing the work of the team, budget oversight, planning and monitoring the departments goal and objectives
  • Experience with scheduling and database management in an administrative or equivalent role
  • Intermediate knowledge of office technology tools including web-based, Facebook, Instagram, MS Office, and Publisher
  • Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
  • Occasional weekend hours required
