Description

*This position will start at $18.00/hour

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting Camp leaders with a group of children for daily instruction, chapel, events, etc. Candidate should have a heart for ministry to children and implementing the core values of Water of Life Community Church. Candidate must go to the pool on designated days/week and all field trips on Wednesdays. Summer Camp will run June 3 - July 12 but candidates must be available prior to June 3^rd for training(s), as scheduled by the Summer Camp Director. Shift hours are 12pm-4pm Mon/Tues/Thu/Fri AND 8am-4pm Wed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with children in a group setting preferred
• Demonstrated passion for children and their care and development
• "Live scan" fingerprint and child abuse index clearance by the DOJ
• Current CPR and First Aid Training
• Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3
• Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ
• Be personally committed to the ideals, values, and mission of WOL
• Appropriately handle confidential information; refraining from gossip
• Ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18:15
