*This position is full time, 40 hours per week, starting between $54,470 and $61,960 per year.

The Global Outreach Operations Ministry Leader is responsible for leading the administrative and operational aspects of the Global Outreach department. This position ensures the effective planning and execution of outreach teams, fundraisers and outreach events. This position administratively and spiritually supports Team Leaders, partners, missionaries and lay leaders/GOAL Team.

Outreach Team Management: Oversee all aspects of WOL short-term outreach teams including planning, preparation, budgeting, execution, and post-trip evaluation. Work closely with various WOL ministries to send specialized teams (e.g., youth, young adults, etc.). Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Team Leaders to ensure effective discipleship and team dynamics. Meet with and be available to Team Leaders for team logistics, fundraising, ministry plans, etc., as assigned.

As a Supervisor: oversee the operation of a single ministry team, including paid staff. Lead, mentor, develop, disciple and evaluate the work of direct reports. Evaluate the health and success of the ministry and deliver feedback to supervisor. May be responsible to monitor and oversee a ministry budget. Collaborate with other ministry teams when appropriate. Responsible for cascading communication to next levels in the ministry.

Administrative Support & Coordination: Provide comprehensive administrative support including but not limited to: planning, managing department calendars, coordinating facility usage, and department marketing. Serve as a liaison to other WOL departments and facilitate the integration of Global Outreach initiatives across the church; promote and increase awareness of Global Outreach opportunities within the WOL community; Collaborate with Local Outreach to facilitate participation of team members in local outreach events/ministries upon their return.

Fundraising and Event Management: Lead the planning, coordination and execution of major Global Outreach fundraising events such as Mothers Day Roses, Fireworks Booth and Trunk-or-Treat. Manage parts of the ministry budget related to events and outreach activities.

Volunteer and Leader Development: Recuit and develop lay leaders for office support and event management; Provide ongoing support and care for the GOAL Team, lay leaders, enhancing their engagement and effectiveness.

Partnership and Missionary Support: Assist in building relationships with international ministry partners and evaluate new partnership opportunities; Meet with WOL missionaries during their visits and support the Missionary Care team in their ongoing efforts.

As a Licensed Minister: has the ability to administer sacraments, is considered a spiritual/religious leader in the church, may be an integral part of the worship experience, may perform administrative/management functions within the church.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in ministry leadership, preferably in global outreach or missions
• Certificate in Biblical Studies or equivalent, or graduate of SOM at WOL
• Strong administrative skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), capable of nurturing strong relationships both internally and externally
• Intermediate knowledge of technology tools including MS Office Suite and Fellowship One
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, develop, train, and supervise volunteers
• Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
• Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3
• Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ, and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ
