As the Front Desk Manager of the Washington Inn you will be playing a major role on our team. The purpose of this position is to lead the Host Team and manage the flow of the entire evening. It is a faced paced environment that requires, focus, poise, and multi-tasking. You set the tone for the entire dining experience as you are the first point of contact the guest will encounter, whether it’s over the phone or in person. Communication with Restaurant Managers, Service Staff and Guests is crucial. It is required that you maintain a professional attitude, appearance, and work ethic.

Specific Responsibilities --

• Create server floor plan.
• Review guest reservations and timeline.
• Communicate with management and service staff.
• Return voicemails -- assist guests in booking reservations and answering any inquiries. they may have to the best of your ability.
• Retrieve and transcribe all voicemails left on the Reservation line.
• Composing and responding to emails in a formal manner.
• Upkeep and changing out of dinner menus.
• Gift card processing.

Skills --

• Customer service experience
• OpenTable Guest Center (experience preferred)
• Copier/scanner/fax machine experience
• Data entry experience
• Confident in utilizing Google Drive (experience preferred)
