Customer Care Representative- Job Description

Washington Energy Services is currently hiring a Customer Representative to join our team.

Who are you?

The Customer Service Representative is a self-motivated and energetic customer service orientated individual. The full-time, in office position is the first point of contact of customer service for Washington Energy Services, Working at your sit/stand desk station with dual monitors, you will work as a team to answer queue calls, enter/schedule sales leads, make outbound calls and sell products/services all while providing exceptional customer service. You love helping and talking to people, an active problem solver and enjoy selling goods and services over the phone. You are passionate about teamwork and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

This position is full-time and includes both hourly and opporutnities for commissionable pay.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners inquiring about products and services
  • Make outbound calls to homeowners who have requested estimates or services
  • Sell home improvement products and services: Filters, Water Heaters, Maintenance Plans and much more.
  • Schedule sales and service appointments using CRM database
  • CRM data entry of new customers, pending activities and closing activities.
  • Follow written processes and direction set by department managers
  • Communicate with dispatch, coordinators, and management on priority customer issues

Knowledge, Skill Requirements, and Certification:

  • Excellent communication, phone skills and rapport-building skills
  • Strong computer skills with ability to learn all software systems
  • Type 50 WPM
  • Can handle all situations including challenging customer situations
  • Can work rotating Saturday call schedule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, outlook
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and managers
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision and prioritize workload
  • Outstanding customer service

This position is an in- office position and is not eligible to work from home.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products or supplies, up to 20 pounds.

The Benefits:

  • Hourly rates ($20.00 -$27.00) based on easy to follow career path & overtime
  • Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Life/STD/LTD benefit package for team member and family
  • 401K a match of 50% of the first 4%
  • Annual performance reviews. First performance review after 90 days employment
  • Paid time off- Team members will accrue 56 hours of PTO in their first year. Accrual rate increases to 80 hours at 1st anniversary.
  • Six (6) paid holidays

If offered a position all prospective employees are required to undergo a background check and complete a drug test.
