Job Title: Morrison Hall Front Desk Professional Department: Morrison Hall Report to: Dean

Summary
Answer and forward incoming calls
Assist residence hall staff in cases of emergency as needed
Demonstrate excellence in customer service
Maintain cleanliness of front desk and lobby area
Maintain front desk forms and supplies (sign-in/sign out sheets, log sheets, pens, etc.)
Maintain Main Lobby decorum at all times
Maintain work appropriate attire
Notify student dean or Assistant Head Desk Worker of any scheduling conflicts
Perform general clerical duties as needed
Serve as Sub-desk Worker as needed
Understand all Desk Worker responsibilities
Update current residence hall notices, announcements, and revised policies/procedures as directed
Available to work on weekends if needed

Ability to multi task
Able to handle difficult customers tactfully
Committed to provide exceptional customer service to customers and coworkers
Demonstrate diplomacy and sensitivity when working with peers and customers;
Demonstrate enthusiasm and enjoyment in interacting with our students, faculty, and staff in a positive and friendly way
Demonstrate student professionalism
Effective team working skills;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Exhibit precise attention to detail
Good IT skills;
Good WAU citizenship record
In-depth knowledge of directing visitors to the right person
Knowledge of WAU policies and procedures
Poses high level of organizational skills;
Well versed in managing multiple line phone system and handling multiple incoming calls
