Position: Full-Time Clinician, Boys & Girls Club Waltham Site
Salary Range: $60,000 - $68,000 for full time
*****SIGN ON BONUS OF $2000 ($1000 after 3 months; $1000 after 6 months of
employment)
What you will do:
Responsible for overseeing the socio-emotional policies, practices, programming, and well-being
- Identify gaps in needs and provide training, consultation, and curriculum development to staff
- One-time and ongoing small group facilitation, one-to-one sessions as needed, and consultation to
staff.
- Liaison with families and community partners to support youth’s overall functioning. Provide
- Promote and strengthen family’s natural support to foster a welcoming and supportive community
- Ensure that youth’s rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency.
- Participate in community partnerships and represent the Club as needed in community
engagements.
Talent connecting with youth ages 6-18.
- Organizational skills for time management, creating systems of tracking, and data collection and
- Flexibility in creating and implementing socio-emotional curriculum and programming.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Team player.
- Strengths-based and resiliency focused.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or another related field.
- Strong knowledge in child/youth mental health, family systems theory/practice, behavior.
- Experience facilitating groups preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or bi-cultural background and/or skills preferred.
