Waltco, Inc. is Hiring a Corporate Operations Assistant Near Green, WI

Corporate Operations Assistant

Newly developing role in our Corporate Office assisting our Transportation/Logistics Manager.

Besides the duties listed below, this role will take on any urgent need to travel to any of our terminals for assistance running routes, generating office support for reports or Customer assistance/follow-up.

Possible loading, unloading, scanning freight. Travel between 20-40% depending on needs. Length of stay may vary as well at all terminal locations.

Experience a plus but must have knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook, and type at 30 wpm or greater. Physically able to lift 70lbs by themselves.

A clean driving record is a must along with the ability to obtain a Fed Med card. Regular License is a must. A Probationary license is not acceptable.

Attendance and punctuality are essential job functions in this role.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Assist with processing orders, producing, and reconciling shipping, receiving and delivery documents, service performance tracking for audits.
  • General clerical duties as assigned.
  • Collect and prepare information for various operational reports.
  • Provide confidential administrative support to leadership and others as requested.
  • Interact with internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED and 1 to 2 plus years of relative experience working with internal and external customers or other related experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Full time Salaried Entry Level position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Green Bay, WI (preferred)
