Title: Staff Accountant

Position Summary: Collaborate with Tax and Audit & Attestation teams as an entry level General Staff Accountant to gain experience with a variety of work. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients and engagement teams by proposing solutions with a lasting impact. You will be given the opportunity to expand your skillset and become an expert in various industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Tax Seniors and Managers regarding tax issues and preparation of tax returns for entities, trusts, and individuals
  • Perform audits of financial statements within various industries
  • Prepare fiduciary inventories and accountings, as needed
  • Demonstrate the technical knowledge and skills necessary to produce quality work and provide excellent client service
  • Ability to identify, research, and solve tax issues to develop the best solution for clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
  • Internship or other public accounting experience required
  • Actively working towards CPA designation, preferred
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be able to work under deadlines with focus on work completion and extended hours during peak times of the year
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
