The Deputy Director of Finance assists and supports the Director of Finance/Treasurer in managing the operations and activities of the Finance department. Plans, organizes, and manages the work of staff, including payroll, tax, and utility billing. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of the Town’s financial records and reports, prepares financial statements and reports, and performs complex and difficult financial and accounting analyses. Responsibilities include posting a variety of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and GASB guidelines for governmental accounting.
