Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate property maintenance tasks through the company's work order software
- Monitor preventative maintenance schedules for equipment & properties
- Maintain property asset (HVAC unit, water heater, etc.) database
- Maintain ongoing tenant contact to constantly assess needs and ensure problems are being addressed promptly
- Communicate regularly with tenants to ensure on-time rent payment and proper adherence to lease agreements
- Proactively walk properties to ensure grounds are in order on a weekly basis
- Learn the company's standard leases and roles and responsibilities of the landlord and tenant
- Monitor tenant construction and property renovation/development projects
- Create and manage construction schedules for the company's management team and contractors
- Create annual property budgets
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience in commercial property management
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Financial statement knowledge and budget management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to multitask, manage time and schedule and adapt to fluid situations
- High awareness of safety, risk management and preventative maintenance procedures
