Great Opportunity with a fast growing company! We are currently recruiting for an Area Manager to work at retail locations in the NY Metro Area. The Area Manager must have own transportation and be willing to travel throughout this territory. We have a generous reimbursement program to cover travel expenses. The ideal candidate will assist with training, monitoring and inspect cleanliness to ensure that the client's scope of work is being adequately carried out.

Area Manager Requirements:

• Two year or Four-year college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years jobsite management in all phases of retail/commercial is required.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision - must have experience with janitorial machinery & procedures.
• Available to work nontraditional hours.
• Have own transportation and have knowledge of public transportation in the NYC area.
• Positive and out-going personality; a good relationship developer
• Must be knowledgeable in regard to janitorial equipment such as an auto scrubber, buffer, side by side slow speed and high-speed burnisher.

Area Manager Responsibilities: (Quality Control)

• Manage sub-contractors and self-performed services within the NYC territory.
• Assist with recruiting sub-contractors, on-boarding, and training of employees/sub -contractors within the NYC territory.
• Able to manage and execute services, reinforcing and continuing to educate our self-perform employees and sub-contractor staff.
• Ability to manage employees and staffing at various locations in NYC.
• Communicate with our Corporate Office and Operations Manager daily.
• The completion of a pre-set visitation, inspection program and conduct surveys in the NYC territory.

Interpersonal and Communication Requirements:

• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions. Able to clearly explain steps, provide clear direction, and answer questions about processes to other employees and sub-contractors. Area Managers will be adept at establishing relationships with all parties involved.
• MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Only candidates who have janitorial, managerial ,and training experience will be considered
