Vitalize Health, LLC is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Lincoln, NE

Vitalize Health is looking for a medical receptionist. We are a medical clinic that specializes in hormome replacement therapy, medical aesthetics, functional medicine and overall health. The right candidate will be upbeat, compassionate, detail oriented, with excellent time management and record keeping skills. Superb communication skills and a team player attitude are also a must!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Greet patients in person and collect insurance information and required documentation.
  • Determines insurance eligibility.
  • Process payments for co-pays, uninsured visits and cash pay appointments.
  • Professionally assist providers, staff, visitors and patients.
  • Schedule appointments for providers.
  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and transfer the patient as needed to the appropriate party.
  • Assist in maintaining retail product inventory and office supplies, various office maintenance and ensuring that ordering is completed in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
  • Assist with billing questions, claim reworking, and other billing duties as directed by staff.
  • Other duties as directed.

Education:

High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Degree required.

Knowledge of office procedures usually obtained from a certificate or Associates degree in a business program including administrative processes and procedures, claims processing, preparing patient charts, and basic computer skills recommended.

Experience and Skills:

Experience: One year of medical office experience recommended.

Skills: Telephone etiquette, customer service, basic word, and excel programs, time management, multi-tasking, organization, scheduling
