What You'll Do:
Safety Management:
Develop and implement safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries.
Conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments.
Provide comprehensive safety training to employees and contractors.
Manage occupational injuries and illnesses effectively.
Environmental Compliance:
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Prepare and submit required environmental and safety reports to regulatory agencies.
Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Develop and maintain environmental management systems to minimize our environmental impact.
Conduct regular environmental audits to identify areas for improvement.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze data related to safety and environmental performance.
Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety and Environmental management, preferably in recycling or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
