We are looking for a caring and compassionate person with a bubbly and outgoing personality to join our team as a full-time Front Desk Receptionists. Previous receptionist experience is desired but not mandatory, as full training will be provided to an exceptional candidate.
Duties as a receptionist include:
· Greeting and checking in patients upon their arrival in a very polite and professional manner
· Collecting and entering patient insurance and demographic information into EHR, and guiding them to complete any outstanding pre-visit paperwork
· Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient requests with kindness and compassion
· Keep patients informed of wait times due to provider schedule delays
· Keep patient appointments on schedule by calling patients when they are late to appointments.
· Interfacing with the electronic health record (EHR)
· Preparing patient charts
· Maintaining a clean and organized waiting and reception area.
· Complete other clerical duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skill
· Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills, and knowledge of professional phone etiquette are essential
· Superior verbal and written communication
· Comfortable interacting with patients
· Comfortable with computers and learning new programs and exam testing equipment
· Superior level of organizational and documentation skills
· Multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
· Comfortable with frequent interruptions
· Comfortable with noisy/busy environment at times
· Listening skills, patience, kindness, and compassion
· High level of attention to detail
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Compensation is competitive with a full benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, vacation, holiday, and personal paid time off.
