Front Desk Receptionist

Bloomfield Health is a leading, nationally recognized provider of a wide range of services to students and their families. We are recognized for our exceptional bedside manner, professional courtesy, and outstanding educational outcomes for our clients. We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Practice Manager.
  • Schedule appointments
  • Check patients in/out
  • Collect payment at time of service
  • Enter patient’s demographic info into EMR
  • Verify insurance
  • Answer phones
  • Send referrals and obtain prior authorizations for testing
  • Schedule patients for hospital testing
  • Schedule patients for Sleep Studies
  • Schedule patients for Dopplers, Echos, and Ultrasound

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a Internal Medicine or Pediatrics setting desirable.
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • EHR knowledge required
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
