Visible Alpha is Hiring a Sr. Product Manager Near New York, NY
JOB DUTIES: Will represent “voice of the customer” in everything Visible Alpha does to serve customers with optimizing their investment research workflows. Own the process for ideation and definition of capabilities and content to serve the needs of customers - investment professionals in buy-side or sell-side financial institutions such as hedge funds and banks. Draft user-requirements based upon customer and market inputs. Own, prioritize, and communicate the strategy for scrum team. Partner with Technology, Design, and Data Analytics teams to define and develop SaaS products. Participate in agile stand-ups/scrums with geographically dispersed teams to build and iterate. Plan product/feature launches in collaboration with Marketing. Represent Visible Alpha as a subject matter expert in client meetings, industry events, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience working in financial markets or software product management. Stated experience must include at least 3 years of experience working with financial analysis, equity research, asset management, and the related analytical workflows. Stated experience must also include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following: working in investment management or securities services from the buy-side or sell-side; and utilizing Microsoft Excel. Stated experience must also include at least 1 year of experience in each of the following: working in product management for B2B digital solutions; using SQL; using R; using BI tools such as Tableau, or MS PowerBI; using Bloomberg; using Jira or Confluence; using design tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, or Invision; using product Management systems such as Product Board, Pendo, or Metabase; and using Zendesk.
We are offering a salary range of $138,000 to $187,000 per year depending on education and experience.
