Virginia Medical Alliance, P.C. is Hiring an Entry Level Accountant Near Springfield, VA
We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team at our Internal Medicine Practice located in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties include:
- Provide support to the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and cash management teams.
- Implement, maintain, and evaluate financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other accounting processes.
- Assist in financial analysis and decision making.
- Maintain financial data records.
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports using accounting software.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Research and resolve accounting issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
