Viqtory.com seeks a Director of Programmatic who is both a strategist and a hands-on leader, ready to directly shape our digital media strategies and buying processes. This role is centered on making meaningful connections between the military community and civilian opportunities across employment, education, consumer and government (RFP) sectors. The successful candidate will prepare RFP’s, actively manage a team and optimize programmatic campaigns across diverse channels—Display, Social, Mobile, Native, Radio, OTT, DSP and Video.
The role demands not just strategic oversight but also a direct involvement in enhancing programmatic media discussions with senior leadership and strategies with clients, identifying new revenue opportunities, and applying technical expertise to refine campaign strategies. You will mentor team members, ensuring campaigns are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with our mission to serve the military community.

Maximize FPD to optimize programmatic buy ROI for our clients
Meet or exceed client expectations at or below budget

Responsibilities:
Programmatic media expert with hands on ability to set up, optimize, and flawlessly manage a high volume of campaigns within programmatic platforms, and various ad servers
You will work closely with our customers to create and execute thoughtful, high-performing and data led programmatic approaches that exceed performance expectations whether branding or ROI-driven.
Create a robust audience-first data-led programmatic strategies and tactical plans that address the business objectives of our brands with a keen eye for Audience marketing objectives and targeting
Manage campaign creation and optimization within our preferred buying platforms (DSPs) across all self-serve programmatic channels (Display, Video, Audio, OTT, GEO)
Own operational tasks including audience and performance forecasting, budget management, creative trafficking, budget reconciliation, and post campaign analysis for programmatic media
Maintain and create ad hoc reports to identify opportunities for campaign improvement and keep stakeholders informed of performance
Proactively work with partners internally and externally to troubleshoot and implement solutions as required to enable efficient campaign delivery and performance
Ensuring KPIs are met, and recommendations are made to enhance performance as needed
Responsible for partnering with the programmatic lead buyer in developing programmatic media best practices, channel learnings, benchmarks, testing roadmaps, and case studies for the Viqtory portfolio
Client facing to report on campaign strategy, performance, campaign troubleshooting and key recommendations for future campaigns
Programmatic planning and buying; buying inventory across open exchange as well as securing and implementing private marketplace and guaranteed deals working with both publishers and exchanges
Actively troubleshoot campaigns and provide proactive recommendations to internal/external stakeholder in order to ensure flawless execution and impactful results for both self-service and managed service programmatic buys
Subject matter expert for our core solutions both internally and externally – continually evaluating the industry landscape, staying current on competitive research and providing industry updates to the team
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of Universal Tracking Management, Google Analytics.
Experience: 7-10 years in integrated media disciplines.
5 years leading and managing a team of coordinators, specialists, buyers.
Expertise in planning, buying, and reporting processes across major media platforms and media tactics. Specifically, LinkedIn, Facebook, GDN, Search. DSP
Experience working within “restricted ad categories” such as employment
Proficiency in media systems, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and syndicated research applications (comScore).
Strong knowledge in audience segmentation, tracking/tagging, and emerging media.
Strong quantitative abilities, data analysis skills, and math proficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Successful teamwork in handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated excellence in client services.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications or equivalent experience.
