Vida Shoes International is Hiring a Social Media Marketing- Intern Near New York, NY
The André Assous marketing team is currently seeking a motivated, passionate, and creative Fall/Winter Social Media intern. Paid Internship-10 – 12 hours per week.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok)
- Create/track weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote brand
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Support marketing team at live and online events
- Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
- Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
- Assist with photo/video content shoots
- Monitor/research competitor social channels
- Research influencers to collaborate with the brand – assist on influencer campaign strategy
- Ensure brand message is consistent
- Research and assist in the development of new strategies for increasing engagement
- Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
- Research social media trends and apply learnings
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Canva/Graphic Design
- Proficient in IG, FB, Tiktok and youtube
- Experience with content creation
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of social media and marketing trends
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) a plus
- Photo & Video Content Creation and Editing
- Experience in Fashion Industry a plus
What will you learn?
- Training in marketing strategies the brand uses on social media, specific tasks such as website redesign and optimization, and how to use tools such as content calendars
- Tracking and Reporting - understanding how content performs and using insights to inform social and content strategy (software such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insight, etc.)
- Knowledge and skills learned directly from key leadership and business owners (as well as networking)
- How to ask questions and gain a better understanding of strategies and overall business
- New found exposure/knowledge in all areas of marketing, which includes knowing how to fulfill tasks relevant to your desired career path as well as sharpening and honing the skills you already possess
- Social media marketing best practices
- Organizational skills and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
