Digital Account Executive
Location: Charlotte, NC
Compensation: Salary plus commission.
The Role:
Are you passionate about Digital Marketing? Viamedia, a progressive, multi-media national advertising company is seeking a Digital Account Executive that is a highly motivated, energetic, and technology driven to join our growing team. Viamedia media team members possess strong integrity and drive to deliver maximum value for our client’s media investments. Knowledge across digital, traditional, social and emerging media channels is critical to the success of this role. Be curious, creative and collaborative with a hunter mentality!
Responsibilities include creating and proposing cross-media advertising campaigns to both an established local account list and new customers. Must have a strong sense of creativity and a solid understanding of the sales process to successfully compete in our fast-paced, energy driven environment. Viamedia is uniquely positioned in the Charlotte, NC market with the ability to offer both a full suite of digital solutions as well as delivering cable TV advertising in high profile households.
Direct sales experience or educational equivalent required. Media sales experience is preferred with a proven sales background. Great benefits and excellent training.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the client relationship, from prospecting, cold calling, proposal, contract, implementation, optimization, reporting and renewal.
  • Prospecting intelligently for new business and continuously adding new business to your funnel
  • Effectively manage a sales funnel using CRM; achieving appointment setting and presentation expectations
  • Create and propose advertising recommendations to meet client marketing objectives
  • Prepare various internal and client facing reports as required
  • Complete all sales related paperwork for client onboarding and order entry
  • Coordinate creative direction for clients using internal and external resources
  • Attend and completes all aspects of sales training programs
  • Adhere to collection procedures including processing of client contracts and confirmations
  • Maintain product knowledge through continuous learning and research.
  • Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills essential.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, sales automation and knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Use our CRM system to track client and prospect activity and revenue projections & forecasts.
  • Attend and complete all aspects of sales training programs.
  • Work closely with Local, Area and Divisional Managers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed all activity and revenue goals.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years digital media sales experience.
  • One to three years of direct sales experience in cable, broadcast or other media.
  • Working knowledge of digital products/platforms including display, video, social, search, and OTT.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and current state-minimum automobile insurance coverage.
Physical Requirements:
Generally, normal business office environment, as well as exposure to outside elements while traveling to/from sales and other appointments. Typical sitting, walking, bending and occasional lifting of approximately 25 pounds.
