Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000
Ready to join an amazing team of marketing and communication professionals? We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Director to create powerful messaging for our suite of products, and drive product marketing best practices.
Our ideal candidate is a creative professional with a strong background in B-to-B product marketing. You must be able to learn new markets quickly and develop engaging messaging for various buyers to drive awareness, engagement, and demand. In addition, you must be able to work across internal departments to facilitate go-to-market activities, including rolling out new products to the market and product updates to existing customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be familiar with new technologies and marketing trends.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
Be the expert on our buyers: create and update buyer personas and be the voice of the buyer internally and externally
Collaborate with the go-to-market team to define and execute go-to-market strategies that launch and commercialize our products in a differentiated light
Be able to demonstrate our top differentiators and articulate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for various products
Support and guide internal marketing partners in developing, producing, and delivering high quality materials in for thought leadership and demand campaigns
Partner with Product Management to guide the evolution of our product roadmaps
Lead Product Marketing foundational initiatives and mentor junior product marketing staff
Collaborate cross-functionally on the creation of trainings, product pitch decks, and market intelligence for the sales teams

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.
The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.
Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities
Experience in insurance or financial services preferred
Project management skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency
High performer who consistently meets/exceeds personal MBOs but thrives in a team environment
Qualifications
7 years experience in enterprise product marketing, product management, or related fields preferred
BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or other relevant field preferred
Additional Requirements and Details:
Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis
Located and working from an office location (when required)
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
