Our team works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure a seamless operation, allowing clients to focus on what they do best - serving their customers.Position Description Overview - Tonic Channel Development Manager For this role the main responsibilities involve driving partner adoption of our product, collaborating with both partners and internal teams to enhance their sales presentations, securing our product as our partners’ top-of-mind solution, and strategizing with our partners to implement our product across a minimum of five sites as part of their activation period.Job Responsibilities
  • Execute Sales Cycles: Work within a team environment through the full sales cycle with our partners, including facilitating multiple installations during the activation process. 
  • Communication Cadences: Maintain and execute appropriate communication cadences necessary to build, maintain, and grow relationships with partners and consistently deliver value to the partners. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and system configurations to ensure efficient tracking and reporting in Salesforce. 
  • Market Research: Become intimately familiar with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the POS space to provide insights and recommendations for product development and sales strategies. 
  • Escalations: Creatively work with partners and internal teams to resolve escalated sales-related requirements and promptly solve issues.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Restaurant Point-of-Sale sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Proven experience in sales, channel management, or partner relations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of point-of-sale systems and related technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale Equipment, basic networking fundamentals, and merchant services is a plus.
  • Ability to do multi-day travel periodically (trade shows, client visits).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with reseller partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
