Full Job Description:

Vero Diagnostics, located in Troy, Michigan seeks an experienced accounting professional, ideally in a finance leadership role within healthcare, to become the senior leader of finance as well as carry out all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting. This position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks including but not limited to:

• Accounts payable
• General Ledger maintenance
• Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets
• Payroll processing
• Credit card reconciliation
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Revenue Cycle management
• Company retirement plan administration
• Month-end and year-end close process
• Working closely with Patient Billing Department, Chief Operating Officer, Board of Directors, and external CPA
• Evaluating current procedures and recommending changes to improve efficiency.

Qualification of the successful candidate will include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years of related experience ideally in a finance leadership role within healthcare
• Accounts Payable and General Ledger experience – QuickBooks knowledge a plus
• Excellent computer skills
• High standards for accuracy and confidentiality, Maintain honest and ethical conduct at all times
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills. Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating with all levels of management/physicians/outside professionals
