Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. They will also be responsible for forecasting future revenue and expenditures to help determine budgets for upcoming projects. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Director of Finance, you will be expected to:
1. Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department.
2. Assist in company-wide budgetary planning.
3. Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
4. Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
5. Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
6. Monitor, manage, and prepare comprehensive financial reports that reflect the company's financial status.
7. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
8. Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
9. Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
10. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
11. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Job Details
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the finance industry.
2. Proven experience in financial analysis, financial management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
3. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
4. Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial planning software.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.
7. Exceptional knowledge of financial statistics and accounting principles.
8. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
9. Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA is considered a plus.
