OverviewWorks closely with Director of People Partners to support geographic regions as a consultant on all People related issues, provides day to day support to local leaders, collaborates with People Team on day-to-day support and team initiatives and works to drive an inclusive and unified people strategy across the organization. 

What you'll do:

Employee Relations: Partners with local leaders to resolve workforce relations issues, including conducting effective and objective research and investigations to provide business recommendations considering all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. Guides local leaders through recommendations to final resolution with finesse and discretion. 

Performance Management: Provides advice and counsel on performance management issues. Collaborates with employees, leaders, and other People Team colleagues to address performance concerns through facilitating discussions and investigations to provide recommendations and guidance through next steps. Acts as consultant to train and educate local leaders on all aspects of performance including identifying trends in performance and delivering feedback effectively while preserving the employee experience. 

Provides support during performance cycle through fostering communication, facilitating training, driving deadlines, and leading team calibration sessions. 

Retention and Engagement Initiatives

Support all aspects of the employee journey, including identifying turnover and employee engagement themes through exit interviews, driving leader conversations and meetings, and facilitating employee engagement surveys. Plays an active role in promoting and driving DEI initiatives across the organization. Provides recommendations on programming and initiatives to drive education and participation in creative people solutions. 

Policy and Procedure Interpretation 

Adept in employee programs, policies, benefits and leave of absence process and partners with business leaders to provide recommendations and interpretation where needed. 

People Team Initiatives and Program Support: Provide tactical support for People Team initiatives including but not limited to Performance Management software administration and end-user support, Veritext employee engagement and satisfaction programming, action planning and follow-through, and Employee and Leadership Development training and support. 

 Who you are:

  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Dedicated professional with the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to multi-task

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or other related degree.
  • SHRM credential or other demonstrated mastery of the HR profession.
  • Desire to seek and continue learning the HR profession.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience people related function including employee relations, performance management, culture, employee engagement and internal communications.
  • Must be comfortable leading investigations related to employment matters.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a remote environment.
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources.
  • Prior experience with an HRIS systems and methods preferred.
  • Understanding of compliance and employment law preferred.
