Veriha Trucking is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Green Bay, WI
- Effectively manage a portfolio of customer relationships, order entry, freight solicitation, follow through on order completion and service requirements.
- Meet and surpass individual and Company goals for revenue, profitability and service percentage.
- Solicit new business through cold calling potential customer leads and brokers and selling deeper to existing customers focusing on empty lanes, under-utilized equipment and capacity.
- Create freight opportunities which maximize driver and equipment utilization.
- Take complete ownership of loads from beginning to end.
- Effectively communicate with customers, brokers, load planners, driver managers and other internal Veriha personnel.
- Must be willing and able to professionally say “no” to customers when requests are not in line with Veriha business needs.
- Anticipate problems and act pro-actively to solve them. Initiate solutions and implement actions to alleviate issues and improve service efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain trailer pool size. Identify customers who are not compliant with equipment utilization and take action to get equipment released or bill detention.
- Keep focused on the rating tab to ensure billing accuracy and capture all applicable accessorial charges.
- Ensure all computer information is accurate and current, pick up/delivery times and service expectations are must be clearly stated.
- Present a quality oriented image where every interaction is conducted in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide back up support to other CSRs on the team.
- Be a positive role model for all team members providing support and enthusiasm – creating a professional, positive work environment.
- Work a flexible schedule in accordance with business needs and other demands of the position.
