The Account Manager is an integral position within the VNA Team. In this role, your overall purpose is taking responsibility for assigned accounts & the management of the customer relationship for the company.
Other primary duties and responsibilities include managing all existing customer accounts within an assigned sales territory with focus on named high value / strategic accounts.
In these strategic accounts it is expected that the Account Manager owns the customer relationships with additional focus on growth through expanded service offerings, margin improvement, metering technology optimization and customer retention.
You will be tasked with engaging in consultative-selling techniques that provide recommendations on a problem to solution basis, as well as supporting technical resources with onboarding new accounts to ensure an effective handoff.
The Account Manager creates account plans & documents in Salesforce for all high value / strategic customers to grow and retain these customers and records leads within existing high value / strategic customers in Salesforce.
This is an opportunity to play an active role in the management of pricing protocols for higher value / strategic accounts (i.
e. additions for new data acquisition schemas & in-building analytics). Other regular responsibilities includesupporting the Metering & Data teams as required with information / help within territory.
Similarly, the Account Manager will maintain cooperative working relationships with all necessary departments to ensure effective coordination and resolution of customer issues.
Other responsibilities may be tasked at the direction of the Director of Meter Operations.
