RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Director of Engineering to keep him updated on the completion of daily repairs.
• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• May be required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- and two-step instructions; to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.
• May be required to work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to work independently.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessary. Willing to train.
• High school education; or up to one-month related building maintenance experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Valid Arizona Driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
