**This is a hybrid role; 3 days in office, 2 days remote** As a member of the overall IT Informatics team, the Provider Support Coordinator- Staff will use leading practices to deliver, and enhance, technology proficiency for all VCU Health providers. The Provider Support Specialist will be the primary owner to ensure the onboarding process, necessary trainings, and user settings labs are delivered. Employment Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, or Healthcare or related field required, OR equivalent combination of related education and experience. Preferred Education: Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred: Epic proficiency, accreditation, or certification preferred Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience 3 (three) years’ related experience in healthcare or clinical field. At least 1 (one) year of electronic health record (EHR) experience (Epic preferred). Previous EHR experience in the training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite preferred.
