Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Present a confident, friendly and warm disposition.
- Display a passion for, and knowledge of, all food and beverage products offered.
- Ability to monitor and anticipate guests' needs and respond accordingly in an effort to maintain a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism when interacting with guests and dealing with guest complaints.
- Meticulous attention to detail regarding accuracy before serving guests, cleanliness, clearing and resetting of tables
- Continuously check on needs of all guests in dining room.
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with guests and team members (including BOH and management).
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years' experience in high volume, fast paced restaurant.
- Career minded, with an upbeat, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Wine knowledge preferred.
- Physical: Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work schedule: Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
