We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospital Facilities and Environmental Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospital building repairs, grounds maintenance, and environmental compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of facility management, regulatory requirements, and environmental sustainability practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of hospital building repairs, including routine maintenance, renovations, and emergency repairs.
- Oversee grounds maintenance activities, including landscaping, irrigation systems, and outdoor facilities upkeep.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements related to the physical plant and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities related to facility maintenance, grounds upkeep, and environmental compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital
- Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, landscaping techniques, and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the Joint Commission, DOH, and OSHA.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
