Valley Forge Medical is Hiring a Corporate Director of Compliance Near Lakewood, NJ

With a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement, we are expanding our network of hospitals and seeking talented individuals to join our team.

Position overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Compliance Director to lead the establishment of compliance infrastructure for newly acquired hospitals within our expanding network. The Corporate Compliance Director will be responsible for ensuring that all acquired facilities adhere to regulatory requirements, including Department of Health (DOH) licensing, Joint Commission accreditation, Medicare enrollment, and other relevant regulations. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of newly acquired facilities into our organization and getting our program up and running.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy and framework for newly acquired hospitals including initial set up and ongoing compliance.
  • Lead the compliance due diligence process for potential acquisitions, working closely with legal, finance, and operational teams to assess compliance risks and identify mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to establish and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of acquired facilities' current compliance practices and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute compliance implementation plans for newly acquired hospitals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and accreditation bodies during compliance audits and surveys.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on compliance activities, findings, and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, with a focus on hospital operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in setting up compliance infrastructure for newly acquired hospitals, including DOH licensing, Joint Commission accreditation, Medicare enrollment, and other regulatory processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
