The Technical Facilitator will be responsible for analyzing and documenting job processes at Upstate Niagara facilities, primarily manufacturing plants. Key functions will include performing job analysis and task analysis, gathering and at times creating additional supporting material, and collaborating with Technical Curriculum Developer and Technical Curriculum Specialist. The writer will need to be able to travel to various plant locations and will report to the Technical Curriculum Developer.

20-35 hours per week. June-August Internship.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate conversations with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to document job duties and tasks.
• Facilitate conversations with Subject Matter Experts to analyze and document individual steps, performance standards, and critical information within each identified job task.
• Collaborate and calibrate with Upstate Niagara Workforce Development team to ensure documentation is thorough and can be applied to process flow.
• Collaborate with site locations to be a adaptable service provider
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: May have to work across multiple shifts as needed.

Scope of Responsibility

• Willing to travel to multiple locations (Lancaster, West Seneca, and/or Batavia).

Qualifications:

• Training in education, training and development, or related fields
• Exceptional inquiry skills
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a facilitator and familiarity with manufacturing.

Pay: $25/hour*
