Job Description:
You will handle a variety of responsibilities & report directly to the Plant Manager. With the help of the corporate HR team, you interpret & administer HR policies. Among many other duties, you ensure employee relations are carried out in a cooperative and consistent manner. This involves investigating events & recommending solutions to management.
Job Requirements:
Education/Experiences/Qualifications:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with management to develop succession plans for key positions within the organization
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or related role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis related to HR functions
- Proven track record in talent management, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development
- Familiarity with HRIS systems for data collection and reporting purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
