Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with attention to detail essential.
• Additional, post high school course work in related field is preferred. 
• Ability to maintain professional attitude during stressful situations. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
• Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
• Proficiency in Kronos, Power School and AS400 preferred. 
• Pleasant and professional phone manners are essential. 
• Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Proven work record and desire to work cooperatively, positively and with a customer service attitude with parents, students, district personnel, and outside vendors. 
• Ability to work independently in an open environment with a team attitude.
• Willingness to learn new programs.
• Good attendance record required. 
• Prior secretarial/clerical experience at the building level preferred.
• Additional duties may be assigned by administrators. 
• Proficiency test(s) will be required.

• Administrative Assistant to Counseling - Class III - 44 weeks - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Provides clerical support to Counseling Office, Administrators and related district goals.
