Human Resource Generalist

Boston, MA

Large Manufacturing Company

This position will report to the Director of HR in Boston.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the hiring process, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, communicating with new hire
  • Facilitates employee onboarding, orientation, background checks and drug screens
  • First point of contact for general employee questions around policies and procedures
  • Communicates HR initiatives and ensures employee assessments are completed and administered on schedule
  • Assists with some training and development functions
  • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employee

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 years of general Human Resource experience
  • 2 years of high-volume recruiting experience
  • Bilingual English & Spanish/Portuguese, required
  • Familiar with basic HR policy and procedure
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Employee relations exposure
  • Experience with ADP workforce now a plus
  • Proven ability to successfully work with individuals at various levels of the organization
