Here’s the Gist: The AP Supervisor reports to the AP Manager and will be responsible for managing the AP Specialist team. The supervisor will also be responsible for checking and verifying accounts payable records, supporting the AP Specialists by answering questions or removing roadblocks, posting journal entries, reconciling GL accounts related to AP, running/building reports, research issues, responding to email requests and attending meetings. The Day-to-Day: Manage the AP specialists by providing direction, answering questions, researching problems, and resolving issues. Generate required reports and build new ones as needed. Prepare / post journal entries. Prepare / review account reconciliations. Work closely with the overseas team ensuring proper and timely process of invoices. Guide and support process improvement initiatives. Assist with other Corporate Accounting group’s tasks and activities as required This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) Degree in Finance / Accounting or 5 years of experience as AP specialist Supervisor experience Strong sense of urgency and attention to details Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and customer service skills required Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with large ERP system (Oracle and SAP preferred) This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
