Job Description:

This position is an entry level or early-stage Outside Sales career opportunity that may lead to other positions with the company – such as Inside Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, and eventually into Management and Leadership. This position is a member of our Customer Service team in Chicago. This position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 - $70,000/annually commission.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maximize sales and gross profit
• Develop new customer relationships and establish new accounts
• Analyze customer needs for additional sales opportunities; ensure problems are solved by creating mutual value
• Maintain an on-going liaison between U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply and its customers
• Ensure sales goals are met – or exceeded!
• Maintain technical/product knowledge
• Learn all facets of the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or GED / High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Proven sales record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Self-starter attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management
• 2 years’ experience in Outside Sales
• Knowledge/experience with heavy-duty parts
• Experience with CRM and other sales force automation tools
