Duties

  • Ability to highlight potential changes to produce better results by obtaining data leading to improved effectiveness and efficiency of communications products, services, online applications, and service delivery, and improved planning for and

  • Assists in designing, validating, and executing DCARO's internal programmatic and operational applications and data analysis projects, including predictive modeling and/or machine learning. Produce quality end products and is committed
  • [CONT] to continuous improvement of services in OAI.
  • Research and design presentations and provide written and verbal interpretations of analytical outputs tailored to specific audiences, such as OAI's Office Directors, supervisors, or Team Leader(s), including interactivity and narrative storytelling
  • [CONT] where appropriate. Presentations and briefs can be on numerous communications issues and research findings, including those of a confidential and sensitive nature.

To qualify at the GS-7 level, you must have one of the following:
  • A bachelor's degree AND superior academic achievement. Superior academic achievement is defined as: (1) graduating with at least a 3.0/4.0 GPA; (2) graduating in the top third of the graduating class; or (3) membership in a national scholastic honor society. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • One full year of graduate level study, or possess a Master's or higher degree, e.g., Ph.D., etc., in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-5, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include researching and analyzing information, collecting and organizing data, and preparing recommendations and correspondence for management.
  • When combined, graduate education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
To qualify at the GS-9 level, you must have one of the following:
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-7, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled which has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include assisting with studies for analysis of program/operational goals using evaluative methods including statistical programming software, and statistical modeling to analyze data and gather actionable findings via reports and presentations to present to team members; OR
  • A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, if related. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • Completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • When combined, graduate education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must have one of the following:
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-9, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled which has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include conducting studies for analysis of program/operational goals using evaluative methods including statistical programming software, and statistical modeling to analyze data and provide actionable findings via reports and presentations to supervisors; OR
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, if related. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • Completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, if related. NOTE: Transcripts are required to substantiate education.; OR
  • When combined, graduate education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
To qualify for the GS-12, the applicant must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled, that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
