Texas Oncology is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team!This position will support the Pharmacy Department at our 4101 James Casey St #100 location in Austin, Texas. This opportunity will offer two shifts per month with more shifts likely if the right applicant is interested!
This position will be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on candidate experience.

What does the Pharmacy Tech do? (including but not limited to)
The Pharmacy Tech, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist working within a licensed pharmacy, performs the technical, nonjudgmental aspects of medication preparation. With minimal supervision, responsible for record keeping and inventory control. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered nurse or a registered pharmacist. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Specific state law may regulate that only licensed individuals perform compounding or mixing responsibilities. As a result, certain incumbents are prohibited from said tasks.
