Brodie Lane Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacy technician with compounding · experience for a full time position. The candidate should expect responsibilities to grow with the pharmacy to include entering orders, filling orders, selling prescription and non-prescription items to customers in store, inventory management, scheduling deliveries, assisting customers in store and via phone, cleaning the store and pharmacy and other duties are determined by the pharmacist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills. The ideal candidate must be patient and comfortable interacting with patients. The ideal candidate will be flexible and eager to grow with the pharmacy and the position.

This position requires flexibility with schedule as prescription volume fluctuates daily. The technician may be asked to work additional shifts and fill in for other technicians on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

· Arrive at the pharmacy on time for all shifts

· Collect signatures and payments from recipients when required

· Fill orders and maintain inventory

· Maintain a clean and tidy work area in the pharmacy and store

· Assist customers with prescription and nonprescription orders and complete register transactions

Position Requirements

· Active Pharmacy Technician License or Tech Trainee certificate from Texas Pharmacy Board

· Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach

· Reliable mobile phone and service

· Ability to operate mobile devices and applications

· Safely operate a vehicle in accordance with all laws and rules

· Maintain training and a develop skills in compounding, management and customer service

· Complete HIPAA training and maintain patient confidentiality

Weekend Requirements: Scheduled rotation with other staff

On-Call Requirements: No. Shifts may be offered to cover in case of vacation or illness.

· Maintains the confidentiality of the customer's private medical information according to the HIPAA act. Maintains the confidentiality of Brodie Lane Pharmacy’s business practices, operations, prescription drug pricing and costs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
