- Warmly greet customers as they enter the shop, identify their needs, recommend the appropriate products and respond quickly and resourcefully to any requests and concerns.
- Create a positive, inviting environment for customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Maintained the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing and completing inventory management tasks according to the shop policies and procedures. Assisting with new shipments by checking quality, pricing and entering them into our system.
- Collaborate with other team members to keep the sales floor area as well as the back room clean and organized at all times.
- Accurately perform cashier duties: handling cash and credit card transactions with precision while following shop policies and procedures.
- Completing opening and closing procedures in a timely manner.
Some Qualifications and Skills Required are:
- Retail/Sales Experience of 5 Years
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
- Gift wrap enthusiast.
