Job Description
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be assisting our client under their IT Solutions team with implementing a number of infrastructure and system integration projects in the information technology space.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan and manage multiple complex technical projects.
  • Drive project-related change management, as needed, for your project stakeholders.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define project goals.
  • Apply project management tools/techniques.
  • Proactively identify problems on projects or plans. Seek input from appropriate stakeholders.
  • Have a deep understanding of the resourcing needs for your project and work across functional areas and delivery teams to secure proper project resourcing.
  • Deliver value by leading project teams and driving effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other Project Managers.
  • Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams through strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the organization, including executive level.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and the software development lifecycle.
Understanding and experience with:
  • Systems Integration
  • Systems migration
  • IT infrastructure projects
  • Transport protocols, APIs
  • Experience documenting requirements, meeting with stakeholders, and developing business process diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and other project management tools.
  • Experience creating project plans, project roadmaps, status reports, etc.
  • Identifying and managing project risks.
  • A self-motivated worker who thrives and works well under deadlines.
