Position Summary:
Position Summary
Assisting the payroll department to coordinate payroll activities within University Health System. Ensuring all team members are paid accurately and on a timely basis.
Essential Functions
- All aspects of Payroll processing, including data entry, reconciling payroll records, processing adjustments.
- Processes withholdings, deductions, wage garnishments, or other special payroll components such as exemptions and insurance.
- Respond to payroll related inquiries from employees, managers, and external agencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and maintain solid knowledge of payroll laws, regulations and best practices.
- Responsible for quality control and auditing to ensure accuracy and law error or defect percentage.
Position Qualification:
Education
Bachelors preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training.
Must have strong understanding of Excel.
Experience
1 to 2 years
Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
