Position Summary | The Institute of Design and Innovation (IDI) at theUniversity of New Mexico (UNM) is looking for a software developer withproficiency in web development to support its mission of leading academicimprovement through interactive analytical tools and applications. Wespecialize in building interactive data-driven web applications and providingdata analytics using machine learning and statistical models to supportinnovative self-service tools and analytics to students, faculty and staff. Theinstitute’s applications focus on improving academic outcomes and streamliningthe student journey through applied research and accessible information. As amember of a creative team that enjoys a relatively flat organizationalstructure, you will be responsible for working independently andcollaboratively to design and build interactive, data-driven web applicationsas well as contributing to other data analytics and machine learning projects.Our ideal candidate is passionate about building intuitive applications andsolving challenging problems in an environment where independent work and creativefreedom is encouraged.
